DAP refers to Sensory tasks as being an integral part in developing every domain area:

  • physical
  • social
  • emotional
  • cognitive

Children NEED to touch, feel, manipulate, see, taste, hear any and all information that is available to them.

(That’s why babies and young children bang various objects and put them in their mouths. They are EXPLORING and PROCESSING information for their data banks.)
